(no subject)
Without any confirmation of my pending GI Bill check I blew $130 dollars on concert tickets.
We were going to go see Nine Inch Nails at UVA, which potentially could have been really awesome. Imagine how upset everyone there including the performers are going to be if McCain wins? No floor seats available, maybe I shouldn't have waited until the last minute, so we're going to the Greensboro show. If it's the awesome and I have another $130 to spare, I may call out of work and see UVA as well. I watched maybe two minutes of footage from the lights in the sky tour so far. I dont' want to see any more and ruin the show.
It's almost funny, about a year ago I had a dream that I went to a concert and drank too much and forgot it all. I just left thinking, "man, I don't remember a thing." Then we went to MSI/Birthday Massacre last spring and I don't remember the show that much, I mean I was there, second row, I kissed the lead singer... can't remember the songs without watching the show on youtube though. I think this concert will be my first sober one since Tool in Roanoke five years ago. Which I remember just fine.
