Notso weee
Well... I'm about to post something angsty, sorry. I won't be upset if you skip over it, thats why I started with this warning.
Anthrocon this year wasn't that great. Spirit and I drove out early Thursday morning to go down to Trigem's and carpool with him and his friend Toni (dont remember her furry name). We got there and had to wait a couple hours for her to show up, cuz she was waiting on her mom. The drive there took way longer cuz of the rainstorm. When we finally got there I noticed I had a voice mail. It was from Alpine (my roommate) saying that we were being evicted. Fun huh? So I'm stressin now and tryin to figure out what to do about that and find a room to stay in. Thanks to my AWESOME friend Tyman, the eviction thing was going to be handled but I was still twitchin over it. All my friends that I thought I could room with had no room left. Finally Sonic, who lives close to me had some room and that was a nice place to sleep too. Thanks! The next day was mostly spent tryin to find everyone i wanted to hangout with. None of them wanted to spend time with me... It was Hey I'm busy or somethin. I even lost my digital camera and my cellphone charger. Soon I started feeling depressed ontop of my stress from the situation back home, then I realized I hadnt called off from work at all. I call in, but its pretty late so I might have 2 no call no shows and may end up getting fired. Great... more stress and no one wanted to just hold me and make everything better. I did get a hug from Daria thought, yay for that. Saturday was just generally bleh... not bad exactly, it just kinda happened. Found out that everything was handled back home so my stress was mostly gone. Actually ended up hanging with a bunch of artists while they drew stuffs, including Fel and Greenmonkey. I was hoping to spend more time with GM, but I think he was creeped out... sigh. Spirit got me a Frank Gembeck drawing of my firsona *hugs n kisses* that was sweet of him. Kil, Dry, Rei, & him were really the only friends I regularly hung out with. Thanks you guys. Sunday night I met a new furiend and we snuggled some, then my good friend Adema or Tad came over. Snuggling with him was the highlight of my weekend, something I have wanted to do for a long time. He is such a sweetie *huggles him all up* The con ended on a high point. Then the drive home monday... long, very long. Now i'm home and still have my job, it all worked out.
