Well, I finally hit enough dead ends. My roommate suggested that i start hitting up temp agencies. So today I started calling temp agencies. I sent out my resume to a few places. I haven't gotten any hits back yet. I did get one company suggest that I go towards accounting and finance rather than project management as I have been doing.
So it's true that I've been doing accounting, and financial type work for the better part of 3 years, but I've also been handling product launches as well as account management, and project management of well, payment vendors, risk management tools, etc. So okay, yeah accounting and finance fits the bill. LoL.
I'd much rather be a producer for a game company though. :) I don't even mind working from the bottom up to it, like starting out in QA or as a game master, then up to associated producer, etc. It's where my passion lies, I guess. It's so hard these days though; to get a break. ^^;
But back on topic, temp work is work. It'll pay the bills that are a coming in. My unemployment and severance won’t last forever. xD
