Weekend fun: Field Day Of The Past
I cannot begin to explain how massive this event turned out to be. We were there for about 5 hours and did NOT cover everything that was there.
I got to see a functional steam tractor from 1903 move along right in front of me. The animals were 100 times more awesome than our past trips to the VA state fair. My son's head was on a swivel the entire time. He and N8 were really into the tractor pulls and even the sawmills were pretty cool. There was a lot going on. I would definitely go back again next year.
Next weekend, one of N8's brothers and I are going to check out Hermes Farms for National Alpaca Day. Wheee!
