Yes, yes... Just what I was looking for, very cool. Thanks for adding them for me. I love these images! Still not sure which ones I like more, the pinstripes or these.
You're quite welcome. I can't believe I didn't post those before, I took those the morning of the shoot. Took Steven five hours to draw them on and an equal amount of time to hunt down clear photos of Manson's tats, adjust their sizes to scale, reverse them, print them out, carefully trim around them to make stencils, tape them to my arms...and THEN the drawing. I was very hurt when they'd mostly rubbed off by the end of the shoot. The last time I did Manson's tattoos for an event they lasted for almost a week before they came off, I don't know what the problem was this time.
I knew that it had to take a lot of time since they are so detailed. Steven did a GREAT job drawing them on. I do have a thing for tattoo's if you haven't noticed. Did you use a different type of ink this time or was the weather warmer? Those are the only ideas that I have as to why they came off earlier.
No, we used the same sort of paint marker we've used before. It was a lot hotter this time than the last time, so maybe that was it. I tried to dry my skin first so it'd soak up the paint better, I swiped myself down with rubbing alcohol really well beforehand to see if that'd help it stick but that didn't seem to help. It was probably the pinstripe suit that did it, all that sweating and friction under layers of vinyl rubbed it right off. Dammit. I guess I'll have to just get some ink someday. That'll fix it!
Sounds like it was the vinyl. I wonder if powder would have helped at all. I doubt that would have helped much with the vinyl outfit, which I LOVE by the way! You should get some ink and be sure to let me know when you do. I'm dying to get my stilt tattoo worked on but I have to wait at least another year and four months before I can even consider it.
