(no subject)
So here I am at work at 6 am on Christmas Eve. I think I may actually be the only one on this entire floor.
We are completely moved into our house and finished with our old one. Time for a night of relaxation and family...well, family anyway. In all seriousness though it should be fun.
I am looking forward to a night where I am not abusing my joints though. I have been popping the RX pain meds like they are tictacs to keep my knees functioning through all this and I really do hate wasting my pain meds on pain. So my wrists hurt from all the lifting moving drilling, I really have no idea why my ankles hurt as bad as they do, but I figure they must have felt left out. In spite of all my aches and pains, I am glad to be done though. No more moving for a very long time.
I built the gate across the driveway yesterday, looks pretty good for a guy who has never built a gate before. (BTW Melanie, tell your husband it is barbarian proof....Pics Later.) Also finished the fence out on the other side of the house. After work I have to make a trip to pick up the last of the crimmus for my wife, and a quick trip to Lowes Depot to pick up some pipe insulation and a couple longer screws to make one last adjustment to the gate.
