Wow, she deleted her account.

If you can see this, I apologize for any offense you may have felt at what went on in my journal.

The interwebs can be a mean mean place.

That's what I am saying. I think she had the bad luck of stumbling onto someone who really does find all that sort of thing amusing.

You gotta have a thicker skin than that to be on the intarwebs.

And a much more open stable mind...That's what bothered me the most. I have friends of all stripes, good and bad.

Trust me to root out the unstable folks. It doesn't take long for me to set people off.

I have mad talents that way.

LOL. That you do. Now if the conversation had led to the literal portrait of transubstantion, that would have been cool.

I made that comment in there as a matter of fact.

*sigh*

I guess some folks are simply offended by the concept of Zombie Jesus. Frankly the idea amuses me.

One of my favorite books has a plot point that revolves around a cult of literal minded Episcopalians who actually steal body parts from the morgue for communion.

Ok, title and author please.

Yeah I stole the "sweet zombie Jesus" line from futurama and my dad laughs every time and he is big time involved in the church.

Armistead Maupin - "More Tales Of The City". Uhuh...lol.

It's just a plot point in the main mystery. If you are interested, Showtime made a miniseries out of it.

I am not much one for mysteries, but that intrigues me.

The book itself is the second in a series of 6, more slice of life than anything, but there usually is a main mystery involved in each one of them. The central characters are based in San Francisco during the 70's and 80's.

They are very entertaining and each is a quick read. There are lots of loopy characters, and interesting plot developments.

Sadly, doesn't sound like my kind of book except the subplot. It will have to go on the backup list.

But that is certainly funny as hell.
