Once again, I totally forgot to go replenish the fridge this week, which resulted in a Saturday night facing the horrible, horrible conundrum of what take-out was the best option. And then it occured to me, I could make something with what I had.
And this is how my, uh, asparagus taco (?) was born. I took
this recipe and applied the Resources Principle of Being a College Student and
this is what came out:
First the softened cream cheese, looks a lot more un-softened that it actually was, trust me.
Then the asparagus, chopped into random sizes and boiled for four minutes:
Third, join step (pic) one and step (pic) two, and lookit, they've made a beautiful baby:
And another one because everybody loves pictures of babies. Right?
And then, the part where I get all creative and prove I can actually function as a grown-up!
TORTILLA!!!!
End result: YUM!
And then I took it with me to the table and proceded to eat it while reading about early childhood's socialization process. Because nothing says that you care like a drop of cream cheese on your research papers.
