this is sort of what my emotions are doing atm:

• Badass Upgrade for everyone and their mother. 
• YEAH, BUT LIN.
• Holy fuck, Naga. Holy fuck.

• the lieutenant must have gained his position simply by outliving his predecessors. Maybe Amon saw the wisdom in having a 2IC with such resilience. Even if he is kind of very inept.  
• LIN BEIFONG YOU SHALL BE AVENGED AND NOT FORGOTTEN AND AMON IS FULL OF IT BECAUSE SUCH SHIT CANNOT HAVE BEFALLEN YOU.
• Bit peeved at how the airbabies just BUMPED equalists into unconsciousness. Like, Jinora was awesome and made sense, but Ikki and Meelo? They just BUMPED (or farted/burped) EQUALISTS INTO THE FLOOR AND THAT MEANS THEY'RE OUT OF COMMISSION? 
• LLLLLIIIIIIIINNNNNN :: wails:: 
• Dear Korra: every time I think I cannot possibly love you more, you uncover further depths into which I can fall for you.

• Finally airbending has uses that do not involve fun and games (why am I so annoyed at Aang today? I don't get it...tho maybe it's tumblr's fault) 
• OMG MY LOVE LIN!!!! JUST AS I WAS YELLING ABOUT HOW PROUD TOPH WOULD BE OF YOU, YOU GO AND MAKE HER EVEN MOAR PROUD BECAUSE FUCK YOU AMON YOU AIN'T INTIMIDATING THIS FIERCE BITCH.
• For a fraction of a second I was all, please please please do not name that child Aang because there is only so much sap I can handle. And then he wasn't named Aang (and there were lovely family moments in which they were all family-like and adorable and then Korra's all d'awww dis be cute and all, but equalists. And Tenzin goes into papa wolf-ish mode and folk were making sense and Korra accepted she needed to wait BECAUSE SHE'S LEARNED STUFF EVEN NONE IF OF THAT STUFF CULMINATES IN A MEASLY PUFF OF AIR.)
• AND LIN WAS ALL YOU'RE THE LAST AIRBENDERS AND AMON CAN'T HAVE YOU BECAUSE I SAY HE CAN'T.
• But General Iroh (saaaaap), tho.

And finally, because these are the two points my heart keeps on bouncing off of:

• LIN LIN LIN LIN LIN, and
• General Fucking Iroh (which also stands for ZUKO OFFSPRING and DANTE BASCO, btw. He's a multitasker like that. And Korra apparently knows him? and had a humongous crush on him when she was wee and which developed when Zuko took him to visit Katara at the South Pole because bffefery needed to be had. Korra would stalk them while Iroh just sat despondently on a chair in a corner watching his grandfather play pai sho with his LIFE-LONG FRIEND AND POSSIBLY LOVER AT SOME POINT BUT HE'D RATHER NOT THINK ABOUT SUCH THINGS BECAUSE WOW, NO. He taught Korra how to play hide and explode and ended up actually enjoying babysitting the avatar, after all. They send birthday cards to each other every year. Also, this dude's had one line so far and already I headcanon'd. I am hopeless)

In conclusion
