My name is Ali, not as in Mohammad Ali, but as in Ali. I’ve been living this life for over a decade now. I dream of my wedding and have names for my future children. I’m afraid of cockroaches and being alone in life. I like to watch Law & Order in my underwear and eat poptarts for all my meals. Pokemon was my first fandom and I created my own characters for it. Kingdom Hearts was my whole life for the longest time and Riku and I have three children. Every time I beat a video game I have to go pee. I think that Jecht has nipples the size of pepperonis. I happened to enjoy FFX-2, and as I play FFXII my heart literally skips a beat as I see Balthier. I’m not in love with Edward Cullen, but I find Jasper quite appealing. I cried when Sirius died and reread the books after finding out that Dumbledor was gay. I fell in love with a dead drag queen and then an anarchist philosophy professor when I saw RENT and discovered my passion for musical theatre. I dream of moving to New York City and playing “Contact” and “You Can Be As Loud As The Hell You Want” as loud as I can. Dylan from quarterlife is so much like me that it scares me. I’m learning to defy gravity and turn people into scarecrows. I’m going to marry Jesse L. Martin-he just doesn’t know it yet. Lennie Briscoe is my ideal father. I want it to always rain. I write so much that I have three blisters on my right hand and pencils with no erasers that happen to be smaller than my pinkie. Sometimes I cry for no reason and then put on my headphones and dance. I’m OCD about shaving my legs and getting dirt from underneath my fingernails. I wish, almost more than anything, that I could sing. I miss my mother and guinea pigs. My socks are never clean. I wonder what’s under Gippal’s eye patch. Once I wrote a HaynerMickey. No one knows what I’m capable of. I’m not into sexual labels. Reviews make me smile and I always reply to them. I have to turn my paper horizontal to write. When I walk I look down. One of the only things I like about myself are my eyes. I listen to showtunes. I like exotic names. My favorite color is aquamarine and I love white tigers. The only sport I like is Blitzball. When I write in cursive I make up some letters. I can’t draw a straight line even with a ruler. Sometimes I can’t see things that are clearly there. I can speak a language from a video game.
