The SES Comic Anthology, 2009

Aug 08, 2009 10:12

I've been kind of holding onto this one for a while, but I'm not exactly sure why. Probably laziness. Anyway, as I've said, every year I am a teaching assistant at MCAD's SES program where a big group of teenagers gets to come in and terrorize us and sometimes make some comics. This time, we decided to make their work into an anthology and I was given the task of designing it and coming up with a cover. I must say that I spent WAY too much time on the cover than I should have, but I was board. Anyway, here it is as per request of one of the students:

click on it to get a mondo-huge version that I hope you won't steal and claim as your own. Anyway, to tie it into the class, it features little cartooned versions of all the students. And I guess if you want to look at it as a metaphor, the giant is either comics or me...
