*snicker* Niiiice. I've always thought that of the cops, Takagi is far and away the best detective, and the most likely to be able to figure Conan out. A dream like this is perfect, too, since it shows his subconscious got it, and not his conscious mind... yet. Bravo.

I'm really glad it worked out. I actually started chunks of this chapter a month or so ago (I had to write out certain parts before the muse left me) but was a little stumped how to work it all together. I wanted his subconcious to connect the dots (more or less) because the subconcious connects things that seem absurd in a way that makes them make sense in a way only a dream can.

Conan's biggest advantage is that the correct conclusion is, to most sane people, IMPOSSIBLE. People do not shrink and de-age by ten years.

And a little tidbit that I worked into that dream sequence about him having a disease? That is actually based off a story in Japan that predates DC for which there were enough similarities that author of that book (I wish I could remember the story or author) could have sued Aoyama over. I'm pretty sure I read that on www.edogawaconan.com info/news years and years ago.

Cosidering the prompt for this day was 'dreams' I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have -someone- link Conan and Shinichi, even if it is only subconciously.
