Comments: This chapter is a little weird.  When I started writing it, it was amusing and then it morphed into some sort of weird combination of humor at parts with some 'eww' thrown in at others.

*snicker* Yeeeeah, you would kind of expect to see Kogoro there, wouldn't you? Luckily, a bar's one of the few places you DON'T have to worry about death by chibi-tantei exposure...

I actually liked the "eww" bits. Very realistic, which the series doesn't generally do, and for fairly good reason. It's still nice to see it in fiction, where you're not constrained by the ratings.

Also nice to see what looks like death by misadventure. Not everything is a murder, after all, even in DC.

As usual, another great installment of this fic!

You know that Aoyama would somehow work Conan into the bar (maybe sent by Ran to pick up Kogoro).

Good, I was a little concerned about the 'eww' bits but I'm glad they came out all right. It -is- nice to not be concerned by ratings (though, personally, I rarely go above Teen).

I'll come right out and tell you it was death by misadventure because I may forget to come back to it. They guy had a diseased liver and had way too much to drink.

Ratings are a matter of personal preference, but it's nice not to be constrained in what you choose to show. And it's nice to work some realism in, for once.

I find I just don't write much above a PG-13 rating. But I do like to try to incorporate realistic aspects into the story because DC won't go there (despite all the blood).
