Ooooh, NICE little bit on Conan's handwriting. I'm assuming the misused kanji are probably done by Conan on purpose? And I love how Takagi keeps picking at it off and on, because it doesn't add up, and going after inconsistencies is his job...

Glad you like that little touch. It seems natural that he would think about the inconsistancies. Which is one reason why I'm going nuts with the manga. I don't think I've seen one thing to indicate that he has thought about what happened in the elevator. So, I'm addressing it in my story. :D
Outside of what will appear in the story, yeah, Conan intentionally misuses some kanji. Afterall, he is supposed to be learning it. But old habits die hard, that's why his writing (style and actual writing) are pretty good, better than a grade schooler should be. Of course, the force knows he's not an average grade schooler but Takagi has seen Conan in a way no one else has aside from the people whom already know.

*snicker* Yeah, I agree, it seems odd Takagi hasn't commented on the Elevator mess at all since it happened. I have an explanation for that in Four Kings, the huge story I'm working on... Basically, Takagi's realized that this is probably something he's safer not knowing, so he's just going to to trust them. Difference between a detective and a cop. :)

Oo, I can't wait to read the story. The only way I can explain it is that Aoyama is focusing on Conan and there haven't been any serious Conan-Takagi interactions like that since then. Still, it would be nice to catch him watching Conan every once in a while just to let us know he hasn't forgotten.
