I've read that some officers will turn down promotions because of the increase in paperwork (don't know if that holds true in Japan... I suspect it doesn't considering what I have read about promotion exams and such). Paperwork is a bane. :) I can only imagine the mess something like that mess would cause. Well, I do intend to give him a break from time to time (the encounter in the gardens with Conan? I let him off that time). Glad you're loving them. It makes me happy to know it is being enjoyed.
