Challenge #58
Since I haven't actually done anything remotely related to this community in a while, and yet am still ostensibly a maintainer...
Anywhere else, this would sound like an odd challenge, but around here, I honestly doubt most of the regulars are capable of it:
Write a Conan fic, of 1000 or more words, that does not involve Magic Kaitou in any way, shape, or form.
Characters from Meitantei Conan proper only--no Kaito, no Saguru, no Nakamori, etc. Anything else goes, but bonus points will be awarded to anyone who can resist the urge to make it shounen-ai.
This may sound like a very odd and somewhat ranty challenge, but...if you look at the history of this community for the past four months or so, you'll understand where I'm coming from.
ADDENDUM TO THE CHALLENGE: Don't puss out by writing the ten millionth Heiji/Kazuha fic out there. ACTUALLY PUT CONAN IN IT, that was sort of the intent of the challenge. :P
