She stood there, five-foot two and slender as a twig leaf. She burried her hands in the coat of her long leather trenchcoat, hiding her jaw under the upturned collar as she waited, occassionally glancing at the watch in her pocket.

If her calculations were correct (and they usually were), Her target should be arriving shortly, along with target number two. It had been a long time since she had an assignment this...delicious. For the past couple of years she had been stuck playing the role of slutty school girl or kindly grandmother, so it was a treat for her to finally be in her 'own skin', so to speak.

Another check of her watch and she trained sunglass covered eyes to the night sky, taking a moment to admire the twinkling lights above her before focusing her attention on the building across the street as alarms rang out. She moved out of the shadows, rasing the facial mask over her mouth and nose, waiting.

As her target swooped down, making a perfect (of course, nothing less for a professional) landing, she smiled behind her mask, pulling it away just enough to speak. "Punctual as usual, Kaitou Kid."

The thief looked up, examining her as he did before giving her a charming smile and bow. "Forgive me, m'lady, I didn't see you there." Kid glanced back over his shoulder, gaging how far his persuers were before turning his attention back to the woman, his hand moving for the spray can of sleeping gas. Only to find it missing, and residing in the woman's hand.

She turned it over, studying it, before smiling and depositing it into her pocket. She moved closer and for each step she took, Kid took one backwards, his hand sliding for the remote control in his pocket that activated his hang glider. She stopped, still a distence away from him, checking the time on a sparkling silver watch she pulled from her other pocket.

"Since you know my name, might I have the pleasure of knowing yours?" Kid asked, his guard slamming into high alert, mental alarms screaming loudly.

"Sasha, Sasha O'Riley."

Kid coughed into a gloved fist. "Is that like Bond, James Bond?" he asked in English.

"Wrong country, I'm Irish."

"Ah, well, it was lovely meeting you, perhaps anoth...or I can stand right here." He said, raising his arms a touch as she pointed a gun at him, moonlight glinting dully from it's edges.

"Please, stay. I have another companion to meet here shortly and I'm sure he'd be...delighted to see you here."

Kid raised an eyebrow at that, but for the moment, played nice and stayed where he was. It wasn't long before the pair could hear the clattering of feet on the stairwell and a body bursting through the roof top door.

They adjusted their line of sight slightly, neither taking their eyes off the other, blinking at Saguru who was panting slightly as he pointed a hand at Kid, about to make a rousing speech of capture, before trailing off before he began, realizing the situation.

"Um, Kid?"

"Don't look to me, Tantei-san, I'm the one being held at gunpoint."

"Saguru Hakuba, 2 minutes after Target One exactly. I must commend you for being on time."

"Pardon me, but do I know you?"

"No, you don't, but don't worry your pretty little head over it, darling. You don't need to. I just came to give you two a bit of advice."

"And that would be?" Kid asked dryly.

The woman reached into her pocket, managing to keep her gun trained on both men, before tossing down a picture of a slightly balding Japanese male, appearing to be in his mid-fourties, laying dead, slumped over a drawing table with a rather large and improbable knife in his back.

"You're series is undergoing re-rights. Do kiss and make nice for the new artist?" She gave them a smile that clearly could be read as 'or else', before disappearing in a manner that was neather remarkable or noteworthy.

The pair on left on the rooftop stared at each other for a long moment, sizing the other up before shrugging and wondering off to their respective after-hours lives, turning over this new twist.

(Note: Kudos (and Kudo) to anyone who can guess who I really am...I am that embaressed to post this)
