Following widespread reports that Bayern Munich’s capture of Schalke goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is a near certainty this summer, details as to his transfer fee and contract duration have been revealed.
Last weekend the Germany international announced that he has made up his mind concerning his future and rumours have spread thick and fast that the 'keeper will move to Munich at the end of the season.
Bild claims that the 25-year-old will pen a four-year deal with Bayern, leaving his transfer fee the only issue yet to be resolved.
The defending Bundesliga champions will pay in the region of €18-20 million for the services of Neuer, according to the German tabloid.
Last summer the Germany number one was a top priority on Bayern's wish list, but Schalke refused to sell him.
However, with the Gelsenkirchen side are struggling financially and with the player having refused to extend his contract past 2012, it appears that he is on his way to Munich in the summer.
