Woohoo!

Eric found me! I honestly thought I'd never be able to contact him again! I KNEW Skype was worth the annoying speech time delay. All hail the goodness.

Oh, 28 years single, as of Tuesday. Feel the endless void, kids.

Really should find something else to post about, sooooo.....

My dispenserary training is now progressing, and I hope to qualify in 7-8 months. I'll then be paid real money, and finally have the power to (theoretically) leave retail and go to (say) the NHS. Probably just as stressful, but at least I won't be working for corporate sharks.

Oh, and Kev? A Battlestar Galactica RPG could be awesome, but it depends how they throw it. I mean, could you play a Cylon? Would a GM WANT people playing Cylons? There's potential for intrigue and thriller-like stuff, but I'm not sure how it would play out. Would depend when and where they set it. Living in the Fleet? On the new Colony? Back on the Colonies during the first war?

These are all options. I think that the setting limits things somewhat - you could easily end up in a military command structure that doesn't allow for the free-form development that many players I know favour - but that's by no means inherently bad. Just wouldn't suit, say, a standard Cammy.

And now I'm going to make dinner, and hope Eric drops me an actual line. He has not yet set his Skype to tell me when he's online.

Later days!
