Louisiana, You Will Be Missed
So, tomorrow the movers arrive and pack up everything in the house. I'm currently doing last-minute sorting of which items I need to take with me in person. Everything else will be put into storage for a couple of months until the short sale of the house we're buying is finished.
I'll be living a bachelor's life in a small studio guest house that is located on the property I'm purchasing. So, at the very least I'll be able to get used to my new home, even if I won't exactly be living in the main building yet.
I'm going to miss all the friends I made, and I'm sure I'll suffer from a bit of depression once I reach my new home. I've always been a bit nomadic, though, and will surely adapt to my new environment in short order.
To everyone who has made my Louisiana experience a memorable one, I thank you. May our paths cross again in the near future.
