Remember how yesterday the music was extra good?
Yeah, today my boss changed the station to some other station that is playing like... best of the 80's. Which is a change of pace to say the least, though not entirely unwelcome.
So far we've heard the original "99 Red Balloons" which I'd almost forgotten existed in favor of the punk cover by Goldfinger. "Take On Me" by Ah-ha, some Blondie song which I'd forgotten was Blondie, "Time After Time", and a handful of other 80's goodness.
I tell you what though, there's some 80's music that should stay where it belongs: in awkward memories and John Hughes movies.
