Another post! And it isn't work-related! Here be randomness...
I can't wait for Hairspray to come out! I'm psyched that it comes out on my day off (the 20th) and that I can see it before I head to B&N to pick up Book 7. It'll be nice to just unwind on Friday--and what a fantastic way to do it!
I also need to pick up the OST at work. I need a new CD to flail to. ;-þ
I'm thinking I'll paint on Monday. I'd like to get it all finished before I move too much more furniture into the area. I don't want to move shit around just to paint. I'm lazy like that. I also need to suck it up and buy a rug, because that floor is fucking cold (it's painted cement), even in July.
I had a basic vision for the living space, a mix of zen and high-tech (my usual style). Low furniture, clean lines, minimal decoration, soothing enviroment... and an insane electronics setup. Especially for the Wii. XD I like the idea of modeling it a bit after that somewhat idealized image of Tokyo: constant life and movement, with pockets of calm and serenity.
And hey, it gives me a reason to break out my fountains and rock garden again, along with my growing collection of humming, buzzing, blinking, squealing gadgets. ;)
