Hello!
Well, Robs birthday was fine. I spent MOST of Monday driving all over town looking for a damn card shuffler. I went to about 7 places (including more than one target and walmart and a kmart) and no one had them or they were all of a sudden sold out....yeah like hords of people went out this weekend looking for a card shuffler. *rolleyes* Anyway, the third wal-mart (and last stop) had it and I was on my way. I rushed home so I could wrap his stuff an then went to the grocery to get stuff for dinner and bake his cake. We sat around eating and then watched the SERIES FINALE of Everwood. It was sad - Rob loves that show...lol.
Tuesday (his actually birthday) we just hung out. Rob did yard work and I helped some but then I tried to find any excuse I could not too....and I'm still sore today from pulling weeds in the flower beds. Rob went to his class and didn't get home until late. My friend Ashley and her husband Fabian just bought a wakeboarding boat. They came over to borrow Rob's truck (he usually drives his work truck, a tahoe) so they could go to Orlando and tow it back. Robs excited because now he has something to play on...lol...our boat is in the garage in pieces because Rob hasn't finished it. Every year he takes it appart to refinish all the woodwork...but he hasn't had time. Anyway they were on there way here when they decided to stop for dinner at Applebees (WW menu) and asked me to come so I drove up there and met them. It was okay but the service sucked as usual....that's why I hardly eat at chain restaurants.
Today I hung out at the house. I went to apply for a job but I don't think it will work out. I was going to pick it up for something to do during the week (I only work Sat and Sun) and this job is only lik 2 miles from our house but the pay is REALLY LOW and I'd have to work every third saturday which I can't do. Oh well...it looks like I'll be spending Monday-Friday on the beach. :)
