Little Life Update!

----Rob came home Monday night and we've been hanging out. Today I vegged out and cleaned the house up while Rob mowed the lawn and did other yardwork. Tonight it going to be boring because there is NOTHING on TV tonight. I hate summertime when all my shows go off. On a good note - The Hills starts tomorrow - yes, I will admit to wanting to watch this show. :(

----Really irritated! Okay, as most of you know we live in a rental house here in FL. We thought about buying but since we knew we'd only be in FL for about two years we decided to just rent. Well, our landlords just SUCK. They hardly return our calls and whenever something needs fixed it takes them weeks to do anything. When our AC broke (yes, in FL in the summertime) it took them forever! They kept sending someone out to look at it even though they were told it was old and needed replacing.
Now here is the next problem. Last week our dishwasher broke, it's not draining water. We called our landlords and of course, they haven't called us back. It's been about a week so today we took matters into our own hands. After lunch we called a repair man to come look at it....we figured he could at least tell us what was wrong. Well, after spending about 30 min looking at it he came to the conclusion that it was just plain old and needed to be replaced. He pretty much told us that the part would cost about $150+ and the labor would be about $90+ and that spending $250+ to fix a 20 year old dishwasher is just stupid when you can buy a brand new one with a warrenty for the same price. I think Rob will be calling our landlords AGAIN tomorrow to try and get up with them to tell them that the dishwaser is broken.
