figuring it out
I'm startin to get a little stressed about what the hell I'm doing this summer. I have a wide variety of shit I've applied for and haven't heard back on ANYTHING!!! 1. Top Model. Wtf Tyra? Why haven't you called me yet? 2. Willamette Valley REU. This was my "sure thing". It's a research opportunity at different oregon universities. Not super exciting, but I get paid bank. 3. OHSU Biomedical Informatics. This is the job I want super bad. It's a paid summer internship learning the type of stuff I want to do in grad school. A more competitive option but fo reals, good lookin math girls with social skills in portland don't come around that often. Get with it OHSU. 4. Oregon Health Career Center summer mentor. This is teaching high school kids math and chemistry to prepare them for college. Makes good money and should be good experience but another competitive spot. I hope I can handle teaching, but I think it's something I'll like.
So really, if I could get any news back on any of my application that would be nice. I'm kinda freakin out over here.
Can I say how stoked I am for my senior year?? I've finished all my required classes so now I get to take stuff I'm actually interested in. I'm really excited for my fall schedule. I feel like I've been killing myself academically since high school and only now do I get to relax some. Hooray!
