Just another day in the life of...
So, I have resigned myself (a long time ago) that I will be constantly in pursuit of educational goals if I intend to stay in the IT industry. I went from networking, to programming, to web design, and now I am working my way back to networking. My intent at this point is to complete my CCNA, followed by a CCNP and CCSP. We'll see how it goes, the books are HUGE. And there are 2 of them... Also working on learning PHP so complement my MySQL skillset. I hope to certify in LAMP and boost my marketability. Add this to currently completing the last course for my masters certificate in project management and the bachelors degree I already have in IT and you would think I would be have employers knocking on my door...
I so need out of this company.
On a more positive note, I am partway to my completing my New Years resolution. I intend to drop from 215 pounds back to 185. I have lost 8 pounds so far this year, on track to my goal by April. Funny to hear a guy talk about weight loss, and I dont look like I weigh 215, but it is a lot mentally to me.
