Just a small note...
I heard back from my potential ride a while ago and it turns out that since the weather's warming up for a change, she'll have to work until Sunday. So it looks like I'll be flying down after all. Tomorrow at 5:30 a.m. I'll get up, make some final preparations, then call a cab, get to the airport around 6:30 to check in, leave at 7:30, leave Anchorage at 9:35, and get into Homer at 10:25 a.m. Not too shabby by any means. Ok, now that really is it. I'm out of here.
