(no subject)
so...um...i quit my job last week. well, put in my two weeks notice. it comes at the perfect time as my rent just went up by over $1,000 three weeks ago. oh well, just one more night of ho'in per week will cover me. actually it's not nearly as drastic as it sounds. i'm just gonna start doing more freelancing jobs where i make more money anyway. i just kinda like the stability and the benefits that go along with an actually staff position at an agency. i've decided i don't wanna do it anymore though. i don't want the man to hold me down! ironically, though, i do want a man to hold me down. that being said...i'm getting to know some of the soccer players from my team and have been hanging out with the boys who are going to be the new board for the organization. they've convinced me to run for member at large. i think i only agreed cause i keep calling myself the large member. haha, i'm awesome. they told me i could host events at gay bars which means i'd basically get to do a little standup under the guise of being the emcee for the evening, woo! i guess that's all for now, gotta get back to work...
