Finally moved!
Well, we're finally moved, but not moved in...Our house is full of boxes needing unpacked, and I'm not in the mood. I also have to hook up the washer and dryer today. I took pictures of the new Mans Town before anything went in there, but haven't unpacked the desktop pc yet. I suppose I could do it on the laptop here, but meh.
Motivation has left me. I'm sore all over. I drove down Hwy 101 for 3.5 days with the family. It was okay, but exaustive, and I havent had a decent day of rest yet. I went to Navy housing the first day, and got us a new house. Ran around a bit looking for a few old friends, and using my hunter/gatherer skills to get food for the family. Arranged for cable TV, phone and internets to be turned on. Air mattress went flat, slept on hard floor.
Next day, arranged for stuff to arrive. Went to the Navy exchange 14 times or so, getting the odds and ends. Went to town for some stuff, drove to the dealership and found out that I can get the windshield replaced for 150 bucks. Not bad for Cali...Air mattress still flat, slept on hard floor and many blankets for padding.
Yesterday, the movers arrived. I got sunburned being outside all day accounting for everything that came out of the crates on the trucks. Started unpacking, found the stereo, PS2 that still had GT4 in it, speakers and such, and hooked it up to the 52" in the garage. I took a 15 minute break to drive a few laps. Went back to unpacking.
Today's schedule:
-Unpacking
-Unpack some more
-Connect washer and dryer
-Unpack some more
-Get nagged by wife for not connecting washer and dryer :)
-Unpack some stuff
I feel like a cheap pack whore...
