A hearing has been scheduled for April 23 on a proposed ban on possession, interstate transportation, trading and breeding of a huge number of species in the US. This includes ferrets, as well as lots of other mammals, fish, birds, and amphibians. This could paralyze the pet industry overnight. We not criminals just for having our pets.
