I'm adopted by my grandmother. My biological mother is my sister now (??) and lives in Austin, TX. She's mentally retarded, so she couldn't handle raising me, and - later - Coco, who is biologically my half-sister, now my real sister by adoption. We don't know anything about my father other than he's an illegal. I have an older brother who was sold (yes, sold; it's a long ass story), and we never managed to get him back, so we know nothing about him.
So, my mom's been taking care of me my whole life, and I love her. She used to be an alcoholic, but she's over that thanks to my step-dad. We had to move around a lot because of her work, so yeah. She met my step-dad when I was in third grade, and they got married after like a year. My step-dad's... okay, I guess. He has money and he's smart. He was just raised in a bad household and he's kind of socially retarded, so he doesn't know how to act around us sometimes. He's gotten a lot better over the years, seriously.
I guess I have a pretty good relationship with my mom, and a... sometimes decent, sometimes bad relationship with my dad. He really does try, and so does my mom. They're both just exhausted, and getting on in years. Raising three teens, each with problems (Zeke's turning into a douche who does nothing but spend time with friends, and now he's getting depressed because of our move to CA; Coco's mentally retarded and has epilepsy; I'm ridiculously smart but completely unmotivated, and I'm also anti-social), isn't easy. /:
I love my family, though. I really, really do.
