So super old news, Parkland beat Mountain View 27-0, UTEP had a very close game and won 44-41, and the amazing Friday night game between Andress and Chapin...and as I told Alucard, Andress sucks ass...Chapin killed them @_@
So how-bout' that Dell City-Hudspeth County Fair? It was alright...and I say alright only cuz it seemed muy shorter, but usually we marched low 80 weather today was 87 with lots of humidity -.- Poor freshmen were all dieing and stuff...it's hard marching a straight-away while playing songs and keeping step and what not, it's like a never ending show, except instead of 5 minutes, it was like an hour or less/so? But yeah, instead of checking-out that tin shack of trinkets, we chilled and listened to the mariachi's "Aiiiiii ha ha haaa!!!"
But yeah, the parade was uber small, like participation wise, we started super late compared to last year yet finished early, ate early, got home at 3ish, 30 minutes earlier than last year, so yeah.
And yeah, the subject of Parkland going to Area (like the Pampa game) came up...and yeah...it might not happen this year. Parkland's 3-1...in district 1-1 (Del Valle-Mountain view) next is Riverside...I'm not being "pessimistic" I know mispelled, just realistic but they have a great Band and team...I don't wanna go Parkland's gonna be 1-2 probably cuz Riverside and then Parkland would like have to not lose only maybe 1 or 2 games after that to go to play-offs and THEN beat a 1-4A Team, like last year's Austin.
BAND TRIP TO SAN ANTONIO!?!?!?!? PLEASE, I wish we'd go to like Colorado or something, even Rioduso, but San Antonio...
