What is it that they say about the quiet and the storm? It had certainly been quiet over the past week - so quiet that Vicky Vale had found herself standing in the middle of Main Street smiling at the camera and saying

Darts seems to be harder than it looks, Mary Jane decides as she misses on her second attempt. She shakes her head and laughs and if Peter or Connor were here they'd probably clean house and have every single balloon popped in a matter of minutes. But instead, the three of only halfway decent dart throwers were trying out their luck.
She throws another and finally is able to hit her target. Harry is laughing as he hits as many as he misses while Natalie and MJ are about as bad or worse with their throwing. He buys another round of darts and finally after a few lucky shots between the three of them, they pop the right about of balloons. See, even without Peter and Connor back, they are able to win something for Harry's son.
"After three rounds, it's about time we finally won something," she grins at Natalie and Harry and watches as he selects one of the over-sized animals.
"I can't remember the last time I played the games at a carnival like this." Points to Bruce Wayne for setting this up. Harry seems to be enjoying himself plenty and she's having a good time herself. "You think Peter and Connor ended up having to take all of the kids on the ride with them?" she asks, grinning just at the thought. Once they took the first children, more would ask and the thought of Connor and Peter on the rides over and over again makes her laugh a little.
Harry nods his head after selecting a big stuffed tiger for his son. He'll have someone stash it away in the limo in a minute or two. "Yeah, I'm sure they will be over rides by the time they finish."
"Wow," a small voice says as Harry looks down to see a little girl who appears to be about five years old staring at the tiger with wide eyes.
"Hello," he says in a soft tone as he watches her eyes move from the tiger to the other prizes in the booth. "Do you see something you like?"
She gives him a shy smile, looking over at Natalie and Mary Jane for a moment before finally pointing a stuffed unicorn. It is impressive with it's glittery horn.
"How much for the unicorn?" Harry asks as the guy behind the booth just chuckles. He holds out the darts for Harry and Harry shakes his head. "I don't think I have another round of wins in me."
Opening his wallet, he hands the guy some cash and waits as the man reaches up and retrieves the unicorn and passes it over to the little girl who hugs it tight. "Thank you," she tells all of them before running off. Harry can't help but crack up as he turns back to the vendor and says, "If kids show up and want prizes, give them whatever they want, and I'll be sure to compensate you."
With that, he hauls the tiger over to the girls so they can try to find Connor and Peter. He is proud of the tiger though because they actually won it. "Think Evan will actually name it?" He asks them as they make their way through the crowd to pause and watch one of the fire eaters.
A smile creased Natalie's face when Harry picks out the tiger and then even more so when he pays for the unicorn for the little girl at the party. Harry was going to be a good father, Natalie could see that just from the way he was interacting around strangers. He'd always been generous but she had been afraid for the worst in the beginning. Now all of that fear almost seemed silly.
"He might." She answered him easily as the three of them made their way through the crowd, pausing only long enough for Natalie to grab a drink a little more suited to this party. The water had been okay for now but this was a party and Natalie intended to enjoy herself a little. After all, she couldn't even remember the last time she was at an amusement park.
Finally they stop in front of the ferris wheel and glanced around. Natalie could tell that Harry was looking for Connor, but she could see him nowhere in sight just yet.
"We'll have to bring Evan here when he gets a little older." She said to Harry, but she at least knew that Harry would bring him, even if it was all the way in Gotham.
After leaving the booth, they walk through the crowds back toward some of the rides and she looks up to the rollercoaster to see the car shooting by. Mary Jane smiles when she spots Connor and Peter with two children that weren't the ones they originally left with earlier.
She pauses long enough to pick up another glass of champagne and sips on it as they watch all the rides. Even if Peter has had enough of the rides, she'll be sure to make him go with her on at least a couple. She knows that he will if she asks, so she's not too worried about him putting up much of a fight.
A couple children run by with some of the stuffed animals in their hands and it makes MJ grin. Hopefully the vendors will be able to last all of the kids taking Harry up on his offer to get whatever they wanted.
The ride ends and Mary Jane nods when she sees Peter and Connor stepping off the ride. "There they are," she says and raises a brow at the look on Peter's face. Too bad he would be taking her on another ride or two before the night is over.
"Good thing they both have strong stomachs," Harry says casually. Natalie of course has seen that Connor has special abilities, but he's been careful not to reveal Peter's secret.
He spots someone familiar and excuses himself for just a moment to ask one of the waiters if they would mind running the tiger out to the limo. Once he has passed off the stuffed animal, he snags a glass of champagne from a tray. If he alternates between alcohol and soda he won't get too intoxicated.
"We don't have to wait for them. If you two are ready to hit the rides we can start now." After all it's not like some of the rides aren't appropriate for three people. He is pretty sure finding someone else to step in when a fourth is needed won't be hard. Plus it may motivate Peter and Connor to join them quicker if they see them amusing themselves.
Natalie takes another sip of her champagne when Mary Jane finally spots Connor and Peter in the crowd, near one of the rides. It was amusing to watch the two of them lord over a group of small children at an amusement park when they were in tuxedos. She's pretty sure this won't stop being amusing for the rest of the night.
"I've always been a rollercoaster fan." Natalie admits to the two of them with a grin. It would be hard finding a rollercoaster with a three seater she's certain they won't be unaccompanied for long. For a moment she almost feels like a child again as she turns back to Harry and Mary Jane who are looking at her with some amusement.
Amusement. Well, it is an amusement park, right? "Don't get squeamish on me now, Harry." She teases him as the three of them start to make their way through the crowd.
