So due to a request by Liz I shall update my livejournal. But first I have a question for you all. The software that I was using to put my podcast on the web was shareware and I have run out of free uses. I have to pay 20 bucks to keep it going (but 20 bucks and that's it forever). Do any of you actually listen to it? I'm willing to pay it if more than 5 people actually listen. Otherwise it's kinda pointless. So leave a comment telling me whether or not you actually listen to my podcast.
So what has been going on in my world? What has been keeping me from updating this livejournal? The answer is practice. You see, one thing that I did not make very public was that when I got my acceptance letter from Belmont it said I got in as a music major, but I found out a day later that I hadn't. So I came to Belmont with a Music Business major planning on taking guitar lessons from the school and reauditioning. So last Tuesday I went into my audition and was talking to my teacher Jeff and it went a little bit like this...
Craig: "So Jeff, I need to register for classes soon. When am I going to audition?"
Jeff: "Oh, we'll get Mr. Pell [the head guitar guy at Belmont] into your lesson next week and do it then."
So all of a sudden I had a week to be ready. Granted I had been working all semester but there was stuff that needed doing that it would have been nice to have more than a week for. Oh well, such is life and I've been practicing my butt off.
I have made room for fun here and there though such as Waho at 3 AM saturday morning. Hang out with Paige day Saturday including a trip to Opry Millls (the Nashville version of Discover Mills for all you Duluthians) and going to Fall Follies (which was amazing).
For halloween I had a great idea. I decided to have Paige straighten my hair and become Bono for the day. It was amazing...
Yeah, I'm Bono...
Paige loves her Bono
Ben looking nauseous as Flava Flav
Leah's loving her celebrity boys...
Bono trying not to look annoyed by Flav...
And finally, the Rolling Stone Cover Shot
All in all great day, but I need to get to bed. Big day tomorrow.
