Oh man. I know the worst of it missed us by a hair's breadth (poor England got the brunt of it) but walking outside this morning to find a thin layer of ash on the roof of every car? It was kind of surreal.

KLM airlines conducted a test flight today to see if the airspace was safe yet. Those were some brave people on board that plane alright, yikes D:
