My Housecat Is Out to Get Me
My writing/computer laptop desk is located at the foot of my bed. Currently, my cat is enthroned on top of my pillow at the head of the bed, staring at me with one of those chilly, jungle-cat, I-would-kill-you-if-I-was-400lbs-heavier glares. I have no idea what I have done to provoke such kitty aggression.
I want to THANK Ashtari and Fenikkusuken for nominating and seconding my drabble The Best Years of Our Lives for Best Comedy in this quarter’s IYFG awards. I am surprised, and grateful! I wasn’t aware until the other day when I signed on to send a few last minute seconds of my own. Thank you, thank you.
I notice that there are substantially fewer nominees this time around at the IYFG. Is this because fewer people participated this round, or were a lot of fics disqualified for grammar/writing issues? (I kick myself again for not making the deadline with my noms. Hopefully, I can make it up by nominating some of them for shikon_awards).
And speaking of the Shikons, a belated congratulations to all the recent winners! Several of my nominees ended up winners or runners-up. I am so happy! :)
