Time for a proper update...
Well I figure that it's time for a proper update on what has been going on in my life.
I have been here in Virginia for about a week or so now and it's not bad at all. Yes granted, I did get an Article 92 under the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice), but life without civilian clothes isn't all that bad. I graduate from the School of Music on September 1st which means that I should be back up in Vermont either the 1st or 2nd depending on when the Army ships me out of here.
I'm really excited to be going back up to Vermont and see some familiar faces for a change. Granted I love my Battles and they are awesome people, but you guys/gals know what I mean. I made sure that I e-mailed all of my professors so that they know that I'm going to be late. I also need to call Housing to see who my roommate is because I know Rick hasn't done it yet and I hope we were put together.
I've been trying to get back in touch with people since I've been here. I've called Abby a couple times, as well as Kelly, Karlye, and Ben. It is nice having my cell phone back again. Even though no one ever calls me it just makes me feel like I'm normal again lol.
I've lost a lot of weight when I was at Basic Training and now the key is to keep it off. We still have PT here but we have so much more freedom here that you get lazy every once in a while. I get weighed in on Tuesday so I will get to see exactly how much weight I did lose while at Basic.
