*sigh*
Well classes are finally over and now finals week is here. I'm glad to see that classes are overwith. I'm excited to get out of Norwich and go home. I haven't been home since Christmas so I'm a little anxious to get out of here. I still have 3 take home finals that I need to work on. I have Citizen-Soldiers, War Films, and my English class finals left. They shouldn't be too bad but I won't know until I start working on them.
I have Army National Guard drill this weekend. It isn't anything that spectacular. We have some awards ceremony gig thing on saturday, which I will be the only tuba at so I better not fuck it up. After drill on Saturday I have a PT assesment test for Basic Training. Sunday we have a parade....somewhere....I wonder where it is. Other than that we have practices the rest of the time I think. To be honest I really don't know what's going on this weekend lol.
The time is coming closer when I ship out. I'm down to under 20 days. I'm really nervous and excited at the same time. I just want to get it over with *sigh*. From what Hillary tells me, AIT is going to be a lot of fun. Plus I will get to see Kelly's school while I'm down there which will be cool.
I finally figured out what kind of car I want to get once I'm out of BCT and AIT. I think I'm going to get a used Ford Escape. Possibly a hybrid one if it's not too expensive. But it's big enough to fit all of my crap and yet small enough that it won't kill me on gas. I researched it and everything so I know what the other models/brands are going for and this one is the best offer.
