In Preparation for Exams
a/n: Waaahhh last day of exams tomorrow and then IT'S VACATION!!! *parties around* So anyways I ditched studying first and wrote this oneshot. Warning for there might be grammatical errors and confusions. Comments are always welcomed n______n ♥
The small imprinted letters he was reading are now all jumbled up on his head. Treaty of St. Germain? Treaty of Versailles? And who the crap is Archduke Francis?...whatever. It was not his habit to read all of these but he needs to because he’s on the verge of wasting his precious summer vacation on the confines of school.
He looked up on the ceiling, its dull beige paint lingering on his eyes as he tried to calm his spinning mind. I can do this! He coaxed himself. They wouldn’t call me the Almightly Kibum if I can’t do it. He brought back his attention to the handout he borrowed and tried to immerse himself into the information his mind was absorbing.
The tickling of the clock was not helping him at all. He felt pressured like Judgment Day is about to happen to tomorrow. He needed to know all the things his teacher taught them or it will be goodbye summer vacation for him. He grabbed the mug of coffee beside his notes and drank all of its contents to keep himself awake.
He momentarily closed his eyes to see if he has gotten the information right.
So Treaty of St. Germain with Austria is when…when… wait I know this! It’s when…Austria got divided?
He took a quick glance at the handout and found out that he was correct. His eyes glimmered with hope and optimism. Hell yeah! I know I can do this! He let a sigh escape his mouth as he tried to understand the other information.
The sound the clock was making was lulling him to dreamland. Every tick of the clock made his eyelids heavy. Soon he rested his head onto the desk; letting sleep took over his body.

Kibum woke up a few hours after that, his expression got all panicked and worried. It was really the wrong time to take a slumber and it was so stupid of him to fall into sleep’s temptation. Great Kibum, now say goodbye to summer vacation and hello summer classes. He slumped his head on the desk, showing defeat in studying.
A sweet smell enveloped his nostrils as he slumped down on the desk. He perked his head up and soon found a mug of hot chocolate standing idly on the farthest corner of the desk. He immediately grabbed the beverage and there he noticed a set of papers, in which all the information he needs are written. The pout on his face was replaced with a smile as he scanned the papers he found. It was more understandable than those written in the handouts. He knew who was the one who did it; the only person who was there whenever he was having a hard time in learning new lessons. He looked at the notes and found some doodles at the edge of each paper. He couldn’t help but giggled a little on how adorable those doodles looked like.
He soon reached the end of the reviewer and saw some footnotes written on it:
Don’t stress yourself too much. If you need my help I’m always here by your side. Don’t keep it to yourself. Hope this helps you. I’m so sorry about the handwriting and the doodles since it’s not attractive.

A smile was plastered on his face as he reread the contents of the reviewer. He understood every bit of information scrawled on it. After reviewing for a short notice, he quickly prepared all of the things needed for school.
A piece of paper inserted on the handout he borrowed caught his attention. He removed the piece of paper from the handout and there he saw something written on it, making him flash a wide grin on his face:
Kibum clutched on the paper tightly before putting it into his bag. He happily travelled towards school, knowing he is ready to face those dreadful exam.
