Finally... a quick update.
Sorry guys. Been really bad about updating this.
Well, I just got back from two weeks in Telluride, babysitting and housesitting for Valerie while she was teaching in Japan. They just finished renovating their house, so I got to stay in a beautiful house, right in town, surrounded by the mountains, and got to explore while the kids were at school. While this was VERY nice, and VERY relaxing, it was stressful not knowing when or if I was going to get back because of ALL THE FREAKIN SNOW! but I finally made it back, just to spend a couple days here in Denver. I've basically been back to drink, catch up a lil bit, get a massage, and chop all my hair off! I leave again tom to go home, which I must say, I'm VERY excited about, but not before a good all you can eat sushi day with some of the girls from the company. FUN FUN FUN quick trip back.
I'll be back next year! My stu co contract was renewed, with (thank the Lord!) positive feedback from the directors/ballet mistresses/and other dancers. I feel so blessed, this year has been everything I've hoped for and more, I just hope I can keep on! I always feel like I've had so much good in my life that at some point it's gonna bite me in the ass and blow up! Prays to Jesus that it doesn't happen!
So Valerie and I were talking, and plane tickets to NYC are literally DIRT CHEAP right now, so I'm thinking about going to NY and seeing Ben and Kaitlin over the summer--if that's okay with you guys! I could visit with them, take class at STEPS, and Val said I could probly meet up with Peter(her husband and physical therapist at ABT) and take company class with ABT and even watch a show backstage! WHICH WOULD BE INCREDIBLE! Also, I'm itching to be in the city, even if it's only for a few days, and hit it up with peeps I know!
....blech. too many margs last night.
