Case 186 [Video]
[The setting: A dimly lit room, littered with papers and folders. There's one window, with the curtains half drawn, looking out on the City at night, filled with lights.
Apart from the window and papers, the room is sparsely decorated. There's a desk, covered in more papers, a few notebooks, books, and a single picture frame, flipped down so that the picture isn't visible. At the desk is Hanna, slumped in his chair, sleeping. He's dressed a bit nicer than usual, but looks tired even as he sleeps, as if whatever he's studying has aged him. There's an open book on his chest, titled 'Murder and the Paranormal'.
He yawns, shifting and knocking the book off his chest, waking him up with a loud THUD. Rubbing at his eyes, Hanna wakes up and looks around, sighing a bit, before picking up the book.]
Right. Not gonna get anything done if I get lazy and sleep...killers never sleep. So neither should I...
I've got a lead. I should follow it, after I get all my facts straight...I promise, I'll catch whoever...or whatever killed you.
[He's talking to the picture, flipping it up to look at it once, nodding at it with a determined, sad look in his eyes. He then flips it down again and digs back into his book and his files, before grabbing a notebook, a pencil, a marker, his hammer, and a gun. He then heads out, locking his door behind him.]
[ooc: Let the Bodices Hit the Floor! Hanna is a detective in a Gothic style mystery romance novel, in which his past lover (who is unknown and unnamed) was killed by something not of this world, leading good old detective Hanna Cross into a dark world of unknown mysteries and paranormal monsters. He's determined to catch the killer (Which I believe is some sort of possessed abomination of some sort), before it hurts anybody again...and maybe find love in the process...
