Case 84

Aug 24, 2010 12:15

[Whenever he gets a free moment, away from the classes and the bullies that have already set in after one day, Hanna likes to read. Sitting outside, leaning against the school wall, he's buried in a book that probably weighs more than he does, reading a book on runes, magic, and legends.

Hanna may be 18 years old, but he looks about 13, eyes wide and slightly hollow, skinny, frazzled, and the large book just makes him look smaller.
Every so often, he looks up and quickly looks around, as if afraid he's gonna be spotted by somebody.
And every so often, after checking to make sure he was still alone (of course he was, who would hang out with him), he would relax a bit, taking notes on what he's been reading.

He's there for a while, just reading and taking notes, as if he's studying the book and what it cover, before eventually stopping, sighing slightly as he puts the book down and closes his notebook. Hanna smiles weakly...it almost feels like he's making progress in his research.]

Okay, so far, so good...I hope I can test these out at home!

[He grins a bit, before standing up, having heard something.]

...Guess I should go back inside...

[He sighs and looks around quickly, considering where to go now. He doesn't have to go to class yet, but for some reason, just sitting outside doesn't feel safe...]

geek, bully target, magic, curse, high school, hide your shame hanna, high school sucks, curse: affected, city wide curse
