9 How obsessive are you about your bins?
Let's assume this means trash cans/waste cans. Not at all. Waste Management comes every Friday to pick up trash and every other Friday to pick up recycle. His Lordship is in charge. I let that go.

I wish our schedule was as simple as that.

It's probably because our town is still relatively small. Even though it's a "24 hour" one with all the casinos. I tend to forget about that!

Every other week for recycle? I would go nuts with all the recycle, if it came that infrequently.

We get regular trash 2x a week (Weds and Sat.) Saturday is also recycle day, bulk day (large items) and compost day. Here in some parts of NYC they collect compost. Which consist of all leftover food and food soiled paper.

Honestly? We're lucky to fill the big container every other week. Maybe we just aren't trashy people? Heh.

I think part of it is our adherence to the 10 Principles of Burning Man...Leave No Trace (and Scouts too I guess). I'm just really careful about what I buy. That and we can't recycle as much as some bigger cities. It's a sadness, but you do what you can!
