gave her her dad's slippers
went to the bank
she gave me her share of the $ for the gift
went to the diner
ate food for an hour or so
drove back to her house
her one friend left
the other went upstairs to sleep
nicole was ready to go to bed
i asked her if i could give her her gift now
she jokingly said no and pretended to walk away
i said, i mean, there's no other time i could really give it to you
she said yea and we went inside to her kitchen
i explained, its not much but here, and gave her a silver necklace with 2 owls on it, she liked it, but apparently already had it in gold. but still liked it, i apologized that it wasnt as nice and sweet as the one i got her for her birthday AND SOMEONE STOLE FROM HER but it was cute and it made me think of her. because she loves owls.
then he said it was fine, and apologized for not having anyhting for me.
i said it was ok, i still felt bad about getting her something she already kinda had.
she tried to make me not feel bad, when i said
its ok. i had a back up plan.
and pulled out, the exact same kind of owl necklace that was stolen from her.
the look on her face was worth more than anything.
she gave me a huge hug and apologized again for not having anyhting for me, but said she'd make it up to me.
i told her, "i came down expecting nothing from you. i came to give you your dad's gift, give you your gift(s), and see you in general. merry christmas nicole."
call it cheesy sappy whatever. it was heartfelt and sincere.
then i went to leave and then turned back and gave her a kiss on the cheek. after accidentally kicking something and making alot of commotion, like a clumsy dork.
drove home smiling, i know she went to sleep in the same manner.
and this is probably it, so if it is just say so and i won't wonder every night if you still say my name or think about me. because its the times like that that hurt the most because im killing myself in my head. and theres 2 ways i can live, just tell me which.
