My dad the retard

Sometimes i think my dad is the biggest retard on the planet...sure its expected of a 16 year old guy to be at odds with his parents but I feel this is slightly different, mainly because I have a fairly good relationship with them. My sister is at a bonfire having fun with her friends and calls to ask if she can spend the night over her friends house. My dad is telling her no because "you decide to spend the night at someone's house before you go to a party, not while youre at it."...I was like c'mon its probably a spur of the moment thing like it is most of the time (well for my sister and I it is)....Then he goes on (to me) about how my sister and her friend MIGHT not be going to her friends house but going off someplace....I told him that they aren't like that....he was like "i wasn't born yesterday".....I was like some people might do that but if you think she would, you don't know her. Then he goes on about how i would do the same thing if were in her place....I felt a little insulted that my parents don't know me well enough to be able to trust me to do the right thing...that I don't have the ability in my self to know right from wrong....that if he truely belives that...that he thinks Im stupid....and my sister knows right from wrong...shes not going to go galavanting off with her friends when she tells my parents shes at this specific place....
