Ah, yes. It's that time of year. When your backs show up a little more chubbier, everyone's a little tanner, and we're catching up on lost time = minicamp. It ended yesterday, for 3 days, what can I really say? Good promise from everyone, I feel like we've all got the right mindset, and I dunno, I'm feeling good. We were Jersey, and lemme just say I'll be glad to go back in the city. Stayin' here for another week though with the QB coach and some of the receivers. Also, Jeremy said he'll stay for a bit then go back to Miami so I dunno. Well, I don't have much to say so I'll let others do the talking.

Wide receiver Plaxico Burress, who signed with the Giants in March:
"One thing I've noticed is that Eli probably has the strongest arm that I've caught from."

"I told him the other day, 'Take a little bit of the mustard off, I'm only 10 yards form you.' He kind of puts the ball in there hard, and it's one of those balls that kind of sticks to you a little bit, so you don't have too much trouble catching it."

Neil Best from Newsday:
Eli Manning has blossomed as a leader this offseason, many Giants teammates have said this week. But they admit the change doesn't exactly jump out at you from a guy whose personality remains suited to his nickname: "E," as in Easy.

"He's not the kind of leader who's going to go around and head-butt everybody and rant and rave," said fellow quarterback Jesse Palmer, his best friend on the team.

Still, Manning's comfortable, confident transition from a No. 1 overall draft pick in a battle for playing time last spring to the unquestioned starter has been one reason for rampant optimism during a three-day minicamp that concludes today.

Anyways, I think I've maxed out my quota for number of entries recently. So see you in 5 weeks. bwahaha.
