So, I'm going away for the weekend (it's our 5th wedding anniversary) so I'm posting the next chapter(s) a little faster now as they're not only written but I also like them. *le gasp*
Today,
Chapter 22, in which a photograph is taken and letters are written is up and has some awesome Alice/Hamish interaction. And well as a nice Hamish/Tarrant conversation. And... well. I just LIKE it. So there.
Ahem.
I'll probably be posting Chapter 23 and the Interlude on Friday night (my Friday night, anyway... if you're in North America, it'll be your Friday morning). Then I won't have any updates until Tuesday next week (or later). I'm still writing Chapter 24 and it's a challenge for me but if I told you how so then I'd give too much away. Sorry to leave you in the dark. *hands over a flashlight*
So, that's the deal. Enjoy the new chapter. Comments would be lovelylovelylovely (as always). (^__~)
P.S. I haven't written much on The Only Impossible Thing this week. Actually, I feel myself getting sucked back into the Harry Potter fandom a bit. I shall do my best to resist despite how much I love the snarky Severus Snape and witty Harry Potter interactions in fan works. Oh my, how I love the snark. (And "a snark" happens to be a Lewis Carroll-ism... so it must be fate that I adore both AiW and HP.) Anyway, back to my next AiW fic: I'm thinking of changing the title to simply Impossible - or perhaps Forbidden - because I'm contemplating a sequel which might be titled Unforgiven. If I write the sequel, Stayne will be a major character in it. I'm both anxious to see what I can do with him (character-wise) and dreading it. Mostly because I might not be able to make him very interesting... I fear he'll come across as pathetic and I'm pretty sure my ego may never recover if that happens. (@_@;;) I'm also wary of writing sequels in general because, um,
OPK. 'Nuff said.
