Dear everyone,
You may have noticed a growing number of classes in which we do not talk about anything related to the subject at hand. While our discussions may be interesting at times, there is a curriculum we must follow, and we are already very behind - and only two weeks into the school year! Here I have a list of very simple rules to follow to avoid falling too behind:

1. NEVER ASK MR RIOUX ("Frank") WHAT HE THINKS. EVER. I'M LOOKING AT YOU, SARRAH ROBERTS.

2. Never bring up controversial topics, even in passing. I am talking about today's day two, period four Civics class, of course, when a tiny comment from Jessica turned into a class debate about abortion.

3. For goodness' sakes, when Mr Rioux is up at the front of the class, STOP TALKING. While he has not punished us yet, it does spark an aggravating lecture from him about what he might do if we don't shut up.

So please, everyone, consider these simple rules, and for the good of everyone at school, follow them! The whole school will be a much better place if you do!

- Rachel.
