(no subject)
I am REALLY excited about a cake decorating class that me and my stepmom signed up for. It is the Wilton class 1 at Michael's and we are starting on December 8th. She and I can't stop looking at all the beautiful cakes that we want to make. I can't wait to be a cake making fiend! People are going to come to my parties and see my bad ass cakes and want to BE ME! LOL!! I was baking like crazy when we were up in Philadelphia, NY. We would always have a cake or some kind of break or fresh cookies in the house (and I wonder how I got to be 200 pounds). I would like to get that back. I love the idea of baking and being creative in the kitchen. I would even try out new recipes if I had someone to cook for and a really nice kitchen. I like doing crafty type things so I think this will be a lot of fun. Anyway. I'm really excited.
The plan is to take this class, which is 4 classes (Tuesday's and Thursday's for 2 weeks). I will finish on December 17th and hopefully head up to NY on the 19th for O's homecoming. We shall see.
We packed all day today and started moving things over to the new house. Lily loves that house so much that she screams and throws an impressive fit every time I try to get her to leave. Today she was so angry that she was screaming like someone was killing her. When I tried to pick her up she turned into a wet noodle in my arms and I started laughing so hard that I lost my strength and ended up dropping her right out of my hands. That helped matters you can be sure! OMG! It was pretty hilarious actually.
I'm almost done reading Definitely Dead (Sookie Stackhouse book #6 or so). I really need to get back into writing reviews because I've read some pretty awesome books this year. Child Thief by Brom, The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein and most recently Hungry by Crystal Renn. As soon as I finish this book I'm on, I'll have one more book to make my goal of 50 for the year. I think I'm pretty much golden there.
I'm still loving Jillian Michaels online. I've been made team leader of a challenge team. The only thing that sucks is that we aren't going to have interwebs at the new house until December 8th. So either I'll have to steal it from a neighbor somehow or go to a cafe that has it to log into my team. I'll figure it out I'm sure.
Maybe this week without internet I'll be able to focus more on my workouts and possibly write some reviews that I have been putting off for a long time. Again, we shall see.
Oh! And check out my new boots!! They won't ship until December 1st but that's okay. I really needed them.
