(no subject)
Things took a surreal turn yesterday when my parents sat me down and told me my mam has breast cancer. She's been going for tests and such for two weeks but didnt tell me till they knew exactly what was happening and til i'd finished my degree.
Its been a shock but its the lowest threat possible where this sort of thing is concerned, shes not feeling ill and it should hopefully be sorted in the next two months so im trying to stay positive and normal for my mam's sake.
Obviously id be grateful if you could keep this to yourselves, Im only really posting as a way of getting this off my chest, and to not even mention it to my brother (who he wants to tell is his own business)
